smart mode
a language model behind a small backend
the meter always scores in your browser first. if you add a backend url, a language model reads the post too. the final score is 70 percent model and 30 percent local. the model also writes the verdict line.
what the site sends
a POST with json. only the pasted text, cut to 1000 characters. no cookies, no login.
{ "text": "gm ser, aped full port" }
what the backend answers
{ "score": 82, "verdict": "full degen. the group chat knows." }
score is a number from 0 to 100. verdict is a short lower case line, up to 140 characters.
what the backend does
- holds the model key on the server. the key never goes in this site.
- sends the text to the model with a short prompt: rate how degen this post sounds from 0 to 100 and write one funny line, answer as json.
- allows cors from this site and rate limits by ip.
- answers in under 8 seconds, or the site falls back to the local score.
how to turn it on
paste the https url into the smart mode box on the home page and press save. it is stored only in your browser. clear the box to turn it off.
the backend is a separate service, not part of this static site.
